How it works
Lipids
Lipids provides two major advantages for total parenteral nutrition (TPN). First, it provides essential fatty acids, thus avoiding essential fatty acid deficiency, and secondly, it is a useful energy source.
LNS lipid technology has demonstrated an ability to therapeutically treat various viral and bacterial infections by removing them from the body as a result of NanoSol’s encapsulation mode of action thus reducing an inflammatory response and making for a healthier patient
Our Innovation: NanoSol
NanoSol and its derivatives are stable fatty sols prepared by a proprietary process unique to LNS. They can be administered intravenously or subcutaneously for absorbing and fixing toxins—biological, chemical, or otherwise—that often indicate disease. Our lipid-based therapeutic candidate and drug delivery technology has the potential to revolutionize the treatment of various diseases in humans and animals alike.

LNS Medical Countermeasure Initiatives
LNS has a medical countermeasure initiative that will support the development of therapeutics to protect against the threats to our civilians and active duty soldiers here and abroad currently unmet in the US Strategic National Stockpile. In addition to many biological warfare concerns such as the Marburg virus, Tularemia, Chikungunya virus and others. Lipid NanoSciences is presently focused on the pursuit of a treatment for Ricin exposure. Working closely with MRIGlobal located in Kansas City, MO LNS has the best partner to support our interests in advancing our technology in biodefense related interests as well as animal health. The key members of the MRI that we work with are active members of the Animal Health Corridor which is located throughout Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma representing over 75% of the world’s animal health interests.
